Replacing the inlet and exhaust valves along with new valve guides and springs is pretty much a slam dunk when refurbishing the cylinder head.
Renewing the camshaft and rockers at the same time will sharpen up the valve timing and deliver stronger performance.
We do strongly urge the replacement of all the other elements that make up this assembly, especially the cam chain, guide and the Tensioner spring which also contribute to accurate valve timing by helping maintain the tension and accurate tracking of the cam chain itself.
