Dakar on a minibike

Dakar on a mini bike; it can be done! That is what minibike pioneers from Marron Racing will set out to prove.

The Dakar rally is one of the toughest off-road races organized by the Amaury Sport Organisation. In this endurance race, the vehicles must withstand the harsh conditions of the desert and must overcome crossing dunes, mud, camel grass and rocks. This year, the event is held in Argentina-Chile.

The classes consists of cars, trucks, buggies, motorbikes and now even the small mini bike!

Thanks to Michael Junker from TJR Tuning Parts, this machine is powered by an Honda Nice block (Takegawa). The overall preparation is done by Ivo Kastan who used the chassis from pitbike Pitpro. Overall, the bike weighs only 180 kilograms with driver and fuel included. Ivo will also be the one to start the race.

We wish Team Marron Racing the best of luck.
