VTR250 INTERCEPTOR VTR 1990 (L) USA

info

The Honda VTR 250 is for mid-range and entry level riders. The VTR 250 was essentially the smallest of Honda's Interceptor line of motorcycles. It is often seen as being an ideal first bike and is widely sold in the Asia Pacific but is more difficult to obtain in European countries and North America.

The VTR 250 was sold in the United States from 1988 to 1990, with only moderate changes occurring over the three model years. The engine was a 249cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled DOHC V-twin with a 6-speed transmission.

The complex VTR250 is still in production today as an entry level machine, mainly for the Japanese home market, although some Asian rim countries also officially import them. The machine has evolved into a modern attractive naked roadster with a trellis type spine frame, with obvious Ducati Monster influenced styling. Some of these come to Europe and the U.K as grey imports.
