The Honda NX250 was a new concept produced by Honda, a crossover dual sport motorcycle available in the USA from 1988 until 1990. It was a lightweight bike intended for both on-road and off-road riding. It was never produced in substantial numbers, but was met with generally positive reviews with a good balance of power, size, and style.
The NX250 featured an all new compact, liquid cooled, 249cc, single cylinder, four-valve, D.O.H.C, four-stroke engine with electric start and a constant velocity carburettor. 26 horsepower at 8500 RPM at 11 to 1 compression ratio 2,4 Kgm torque at 7500rpm. It had a bore and stroke of 70.0 x 64.8 mm respectively and a six speed transmission.
