A superior take on the out going VN800, this very classy cruiser has made real inroads in the competitive North American cruiser market place.
It is essentially longer, lower, heavier, more powerful and technically superior than the Vulcan 800 it replaces.
The liquid cooled four-valve engine has an increase in stroke to take it up to 903cc, it is both rubber mounted and now has fuel injection separately for each cylinder giving a superb linear throttle response from two 34mm throttle bodies.
Styling is classic, and ticks most peoples views of what a custom cruiser should look like. The sales so far of this model seem to indicate that the design team at Kawasaki got it absolutely spot on!
