CZ100

Perhaps the ultimate classic Monkey? The CZ100 was launched in 1964 to replace the Z100 of 1961, the first Honda Monkey bike. The CZ100 was a styling masterpiece in miniature. The fuel tank had the chrome side panels and rubber knee grips just like larger capacity Honda’s of that period. The Hi-Line exhaust with chrome heat shield, and funky chrome plated horn just looked superb. Those looks were backed up by one of Honda’s best small engines, the ‘Iron’ overhead valve push-rod design was bullet proof, and revved for ever! In this case safely past 10,000 rpm, with peak power of 4.4bhp @ 9500rpm. Along with the Z100, easily the most coveted of Honda’s mini classic bikes, and for those fortunate enough to own one, look after it well! It is currently one of the most valuable mass produced classic Honda’s in history! All original Honda Monkey and Gorilla have a huge following, many being tuned up beyond recognition, double overhead camshaft cylinder heads, big bore conversions, racing carbs, even complete new chassis and suspension. It seems there are no limits to what can be done with a Monkey, what can you do with one!
