info

The GSX-R750 entered the market place in Spring 1985. It was considered the first production motorcycle to offer race bred technology, and weighing just 176kg with a 106hp @ 10500 rpm engine was catapulted to the fastest 750 ever made by at that time.
The weight reduction of these early Suzuki sports machines was down to using oil cooling rather than water-cooling, saving some 10% on conventional machines with radiator, water pump etc.

By 2005, the model had evolved into a 163kg 155hp @10,800rpm sports bike with enormous capabilities, giving the ‘Gixxer’ 750 an aura of respect few other 750;’s can come close to!
