Honda TG50 information

Honda TG50

The TG50 Giro replaced the NN50 Giro in 1985. The machines were mechanically very similar with only changes to the styling. The two-stroke engine of the TG50 version was slightly more powerful up from 3.7hp to 4.0hp with a slight increase in torque. The two speed automatic transmission was retained, and the power increase was negated with a 5kg increase in weight.

In Japan it was marketed as the ‘Road Fox’ but the rest of the countries to which it was exported new it simply as the Giro, this despite some models actually having ‘Road Fox’ badges attached!
