Honda SL100 information
Running from 1970, the KO model, until 1973, the K3 model, the SL100 used the superb single overhead camshaft engine from the CB100S.
Weighing in at 92kg, the 11.5bhp @11000rpm engine gave an impressive turn of speed, but still remained flexible at lower revs. The SL was designed and launched at the same time as the CL variant, but unlike the CL it had a full double cradle frame, long travel suspension and high mounted mudguards, and was for serious off-road work, rather than a gentle foray onto a ‘Green Lane’.
