Honda SK50 information
Launched in 1992 the SK50 Dio had a very crisp two-stroke engine giving varying power outputs dependent on licensing laws of the country to which it was being exported, as little as 2.0hp up to 6.5hp. All had Honda’s V-matic transmission and electric as well as kick starting. The model ran until 2000, when emissions regulations in Europe and the USA, as well as the Japanese home market spelt the end of road legal two-strokes.
