Honda NE50 information
Designed for the European 50cc learner legal market this traditionally styled lightweight certainly gave the European manufacturers something to think about most of who were still building only motorcycle/mopeds for this class! Companies like Italjet soon cottoned on though and Honda did not have this market quite as sown up as they might have liked. The model launched in the early 1980’s ceased production in the early 1990’s when Honda started the switch back to four-stroke scooter production.
