When overhauling the cylinder head assembly, replacing as many of the wear items as possible will simplify the reassembly and subsequent adjustments required to set up the Valve gear correctly. The most vital items include Valve guides, valves and Valve springs.
This will improve performance, reduce oil consumption and help achieve a smooth, quiet running engine.

  • It is good policy to replace the Valve springs, collets and Valve stem seals at the same time.
  • It is always worth checking carefully that the part number you specify is compatible with your model before placing you order, this helps avoid the frustration of ordering an incorrect part.
