Renewing this MANIFOLD COVER GASKET is pretty important! Ensuring no air enters the expansion chamber will allow the engine to run more sweetly and reduce the potential of weak running with possible damage to the piston crown - something you can do without on this superb classic competition model!
This GASKET is a definite once only usage item - the soft metal spreads when tightening the collar to make a good seal, but it does this only once!
