Fitting new fork Piston rings whilst overhauling the front forks, will be part of an overall renewal strategy of replacing all the critical wear components!
This will restore the precision of the forks and tighten up the damping. This by allowing the correct flow of fork oil through the damping holes, and not bypassing worn out bushes!

Renew this part on both fork leg assemblies at the same time to ensure fine handling.
