Renewing the Timing Sprocket will sharpen up the valve timing and deliver stronger performance.
This Sprocket is manufactured by an original OEM supplier, so has all the engineering integrity of the part that was fitted to the machine when it was first assembled in the factory.
We do strongly urge the replacement of all the other elements that make up this assembly, especially the cam chain guide, which also contribute to accurate valve timing by helping maintain the tension and accurate tracking of the cam chain itself.
