Renewing the cam-chain and the tensioner Slipper with this new component, will sharpen up the valve timing and deliver stronger performance.
We do strongly urge the replacement of all the other elements that make up this assembly, especially the cam chain guide which also contribute to accurate valve timing by helping maintain the tension and accurate tracking of the cam chain itself.
Don't forget to order the gaskets and seals you will need. Use the same sealant as the engine building professionals: 08C70K0234M.
