When rebuilding any engine, replacement of the Piston Rings is a sensible precaution. They have a particularly hard life and can go brittle with the high running temperatures they are subject to, leading to the rings actually breaking up!
This is a disaster for the engine, causing massive damage to the bore - sometimes beyond the scope of re-boring!

Replace as a matter of course, when rebuilding the engine.

Délais de livraison respectés, emballage parfait,
Un petit regret : 4 jeu de segments neufs achetés : 1 sur les 4 provient d'un stock très ancien...
J'aurais préféré être prévenu lors de l'achat mais je ne pense cependant pas que ceci aura des conséquences mécaniques péjoratives pour ma restauration.
