purchased this to replace an original 1976 master cylinder that could no longer be rebuilt without installing a sleeve. Slightly different than oem but strictly bolt on, no mods required. Very nice to have a non leaking master cylinder and a brake that actually works!

Maitre-cylindre de très bonne qualité, reprenant le "look" d'un maitre-cylindre d'origine de 1973 modèle K à 90%, reste 10% à perfectionner, en particulier le système de commande du "stop" frein avant sur lequel pour avoir un contacteur, j'ai été dans l'obligation de monter un raccord banjo/avec contacteur intégré sur le circuit hydraulique du frein avant pour avoir le "stop" arrière. Ce modèle est en vente partout dans le monde et sur internet pour environ les plus gourmands entre 80 et 100€ la pièce. CMSNL est pour l'instant le moins cher que j'ai pu trouver puisque ce maitre-cylindre monte sur plusieurs marques et modèle différent (Kawasaki Z1 , Z900, Z1000,)
Globalement satisfait de la pièce et du prix.

Im restoring a cb500 four k1 1976
and I bought this cylinder,master and im very pleased with that. It is a good quality for a good price I think. It works for 100 %.

The master cylinder was a good fit and works really well even the original Brake lever was a good fit . The Master Cylinder works a lot better than the 41yr old original. Thanks Phil.

Ich habe die Bremspumpe eingebaut und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Der einzige Nachteil
daran ist, das die Bohrung für die Bremsflüssigkeit ansaugen und ablassen vom Fahrer aus in der oberen Ecke des Behälters ist. Dadurch kann ich meinen Z-Lenker nicht mehr so weit zu mir stellen, weil sonst die Gefahr darin besteht, das die Bremspumpe Luft ziehen kann weil der Behälter schräg steht.
Beim Original, ist die Öffnung der Bohrung in dem vorderen teil des Behälters, also genau an der Lenker Seite, dadurch ist die Öffnung immer bedeckt auch bei einer schräg Stellung, weil die Bohrung immer bedeckt ist.
