Honda CA160 TOURING 1966 USA information
The CA160 touring followed the now typical twin cylinder single overhead cam configuration when launched in 1964 as the touring version of the CB96 or CB160 as it was known to most. The frame and styling mirrored the C72/C77 range with a pressed steel chassis, tyres with a thin white wall side.
Colours were black, red, blue/grey and white. This model was aimed solely at the North American market, where Honda were becoming very adept at introducing new hitherto non motorcycling customer’s to the joy’s of two wheeled transport.
The single carburettor engine complete with electric start and enclosed chain all helped to keep that clean image so loved by those nice people you meet on Honda’s!
