Hi my name is David Day and I'm in the process of restoring a Motra, I have a few questions regarding refilling the suspension system
1 what is the procedure for bleeding
2 what fluid should I use
3 is it worth the effort
Also what fluid do I use in the gearbox.
And how much oil in the engine, it appears to be no more than half a litre?

David, are you by any chance situated in the Netherlands?
I believe most of the part of the CT50J Motra engine is the same as the Honda C50/ CT50 (Dax). The secondary gearbox for high and low gearing, I use the same oil as in the main engine itself. I just bought original oil stickers and they say 0.8 AND 0.6 Lt.
I think it has something to do with the terrain you ride in. Climbing descending, 06Lt,
and mainly even roads 0.8Lt.
Anyway, just try, but do not overfill.
You can't really go wrong.
