I am a retired Electrical Engineer, I have been riding bikes since 1975 and racing Sidecar Motocross since 1976.
I do very few miles on the road these days due to road conditions (Eire), insurance cost and a bad accident in 2001, construction not bike (30ft to concrete usually does the trick).
I sold two bikes last year:
1978 Honda GL1000 Goldwing (wish I hadn't), 1987 BMW R80RT,
leaving me with: 1980 Honda CX5000 and
1972 Honda CB500 four.
My ultimate machine would be:
Race:Norton 920 Wasp Sidecar motocross outfit
Ride:Vincent HRD Black Shadow.
