The cam-chain tensioner should be replaced during the course of any engine rebuild. This is a precision part, and by complimenting it with a new cam-chain and this new Cap, you know the quality is 100%!
We recommend when fitting this perfectly engineered OE part, you should consider a new cam chain and cam sprocket to make sure no damage occurs to the new parts, by old and worn out items interfacing with new!

It is not recommended to interface old worn items with new on the cam chain tensioner assembly.
