The Kawasaki C2SS or 120 Roadrunner was a 120cc street scrambler type motorcycle made by from 1962-1968. The disc valve two stroke single was powerful enough to easily keep up with any competition, and with the upswept Avenger style exhaust looked very pretty.
Rare today and spares even rarer still! The later C2 TR models lost there knee grips and sported different colours and styling tweak’s, but were still basically the same machine.
Some machines were converted into full out trials models by private owners, and had limited success, their lightweight being somewhat negated by the peaky nature of the engine.
Classic values are high for this very able ‘stroker’ and some have even ended up on the racetrack, giving a good account for them selves even against two-stroke twin cylinder machinery, some tuners extracting 24bhp or more!
