Yamaha XV500 VIRAGO 1983 (D) USA information
Yamaha was the first Japanese motorcycle company to produce a V twin cruiser to directly compete with Harley, the first one being the 750 in 1981, and soon added this the 500cc version and a 920cc version. All the Viragos have seen successful sales because of their styling, build quality and most notably their user friendly operation.
