Subject: revs High when coming to a stop 4000 rpms

What's the bike is warm. When coming to a stop the motorcycle RPMs go up to 4000. The only way to bring them down is to let out the clutch till it engages just a little bit. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. It almost feels as if one of the slides is sticking or it has a vacuum leak. If anyone has had this problem please let me know but has any ideas how to fix it thank you
