Yamaha TX650 information
Introduced in 1970, the TX650A has a rugged, quiet engine that produces a wide band of usable power ranging from 2000 to 7500 rpm. Once over 10 mph in first gear, it pulls steadily and strongly all the way up to top speed. The close-ratio gearbox provides even gear spacing, and a short, positive lever throw. It went on to considerable success on the American flat track scene, and is a coveted classic today, as standard, or as a flat track replica, and especially as a cafe racer.
Yamaha took a British Triumph Bonneville from 1960 and then made it properly!
