Yamaha RS100 information
Launched in 1975 purely as a lightweight commuter motorcycle, with a fairly low, by Yamaha’s standards 10.5 BHP at just 7500 rpm. But this little machine was great value, and it’s low state of tune meant more mid range performance for urban environments and a much better long term reliability record with a relatively low stressed engine.
Yet this little 93kg machine could top 65mph, yet still deliver 90 plus MPG.
