Subject: EF600 Generator problems

I have a yamaha EF600 generator, hard starting, runs rough and bogs down and shuts down after a while running, any idea wha may cause this problem?tks.

may also be muck in the airfilter/intake. It gets worse when it gets hot yes? could be running to rich, flooding due to heated fuel circuit. Could also be a faulty terminal in the electrical system/coil.

Not sure really, just trying to help you along.

My EF600 won't run. Fires up with quick start but as soon as that has evaporated it stops. Seems like fuel starvation. I have dismanted the pump and the diaphram seems ok. Anyone got any ideas what else I can try?
