Suzuki RM-Z250 information

Suzuki RM-Z250

Introduced in 2004 the RMZ250 was a co-operative venture with Kawasaki. Suzuki supplied the engine, and Kawasaki did the rest. And what an engine it was! It was and is quiet simply the most compact, light and powerful 250cc four-stroke engine ever built! The 43hp @11000rpm DOHC motor is liquid cooled and has four valves per cylinder, enough to make this 92.5kg motorcycle extremely rapid, resulting in much competition success. The attention to weight saving detail can be measured by the use of titanium for the exhaust, magnesium for the cylinder head, generator and clutch cover.

The lightweight perimeter frame with a thick walled steering head, along with state of the art suspension has made this one of the finest handling moto-cross machines ever built.

Once again Suzuki lifts the bar so high, it leaves Honda and Yamaha gasping for breath!
