Honda SL350 information
These models ran from 1969 with the KO model to the end of 1971 with the K1 model.
They were designed as a more serious off-road machine, than their fashionable and stylish CL brethren. The chassis were re-designed with a much stronger double cradle arrangement, and made no provision for a pillion passenger, longer travel suspension and high placed mudguards helped cement their off road credentials.
The engines were re-tuned for more flexibility, and gearing altered to suit their chosen environment.
The 33bhp engine gave this machine impressive performance on or off road, although it’s excessive weight of nearly 170kg did temper the riders off road exuberance somewhat!
