If there were one single improvement you could add to your classic Honda, then this must surely be high on your list? Replacing ball bearings, with taper rollers completely removes the worry of slightly over or under tightening the cones, causing poor handling characteristics at best, and at worse being downright dangerous!
These bearings come from one of the top manufacturers, and simplify the refitting of your triple tree, with no more ball bearings dropping on the workshop floor, and getting lost!

Evaluation of tapered bearing kit., Wednesday, March 12, 2008

Hello, Since I so far have not come to the point to replace the bearings in the steering stem, I hardly can evaluate the quality of the tapered ones. They certainly look great,and I hope they will improve the handling. This is my first try with a tapered type.
