| I,m restoring a 1975 honda 550 super sport. The same one i used in high school. It has been parked outside in the sun and snow for 32 years!! Showing her age i started to restore it.Collecting new parts to put her back into like new condition.
I bought a switch assy, from CMS and it can to me in a package with the correct honda # and decals on it. Removing the switch from the package and laying it on the table it looked identical to the orginal one EXECPT MINE is weather and worn and the stater button is missing . Even the wiring in the harness is correct colour, Pushing the new start switch is something to look forward to. The new part looks as if you took a time machine back to 1975 and just bought it from the dealer. Great care was taken to paint the kill swicth honda red to high light the run postion.
