When overhauling the cylinder head assembly, replacing as many of the wear items as possible will simplify the re assembly and subsequent adjustments required to set up the valve gear correctly.
Setting the valve clearance is of particular importance, too much clearance and the engine sounds unpleasant and 'tappetty', to little and the valves will not close completely, losing power and damaging the wear surface on the rocker arm. Ensuring that this part's fine thread is clean and turns easily will simplify the process especially when a new tappet nut ( 90206001000 ) is used as well
