Perhaps the sweetest Honda engines from the 1970's, your CB400F might only need a new set of Honda piston rings to restore performance, and stop smoky exhausts under load. Using genuine Honda pistons will not only give peace of mind, but will probably out last after market parts from other manufacturers.
If it was good enough for Honda first time round, you might as well keep to the same formula!
