If a light hone is simply not enough to bring your cylinder bore back up to scratch, a re-bore will be required, with new oversize pistons, rings and gudgeon pins. Our pistons are exactly to Honda spec, and with a price tag that should help you restore your CB500 to full power. Always remember to 'run in' your engine for at least 1500 Kilometers after a re-build.
