It is usual to renew both inner and outer valve springs when rebuilding the engine. Make sure you specify only genuine Honda valve springs, both for reliability and correct material hardness (the hardness gives the correct spring rate)
Low priced items from none Japanese manufacturers can to be too softly sprung allowing the valves to float at high revs - this can cause serious damage to the engine!

It is good policy to replace the valve, collets and valve stem seals at the same time.

It is always worth checking carefully that the part number you specify is compatible with your model before placing you order, this helps avoid the frustration of ordering an incorrect part!
