I have a couple of bikes using this lock (XJ + Virago)and I am going to need 2 locks.
Due to the use I had to replace parts (i.e.: ignitionlock, etc) and the problem is to have 3 keys in each bike Ignitionlock, seat & gas cap).
Is it possible to replace only the lock cylinders in order to have only 1 key??

Hi
I have honda st1100 and I had same problem. I opened the lock cylinders and purchased from a locksmith code plates which were identical to one key and one lock cylinder. Code plates were the same as are used in Japanese cars. Now all the locks work with one key.

Thanks for the info. As soon as I can I will try to figure out how to open one lock cylinder and fix this.
