Always have a new carburetor gasket or two handy for when you need to remove and re-fit your carbs. If the old gasket allows any air leak into the combustion chamber, your mixture will be weakened, causing imbalance at best, or a holed piston at worse, for price of hanging up a few in your garage or works shop, is it worth the risk?
