![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Super ELECTRONIC IGNITION Honda CB 750 four, Sunday, February 17, 2008 |
| Reviewer: Michael Young |
| With this ELECTRONIC IGNITION your bike will run great,no more problems with the timing. You hear lots of different storys about ELECTRONIC IGNITIONS and alot of them are true, but not with this one, I had lots of trouble with the points on my bike so I had to try somthing, It was the best thing I ever did to my bike, it now runs perfect. Simply remove the poins plate & point cam and install the magnet and new plate with all the system on it. There is even an LED to make sure the timing is spot-on. Put the engine at the 'F' mark for cylinder 1 & turn the plate until the LED comes on - Tighten the screws and your timming problems are gone forever |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Electronic Ignition for Honda CB550 K0, Tuesday, February 5, 2008 |
| Reviewer: Stephen Pollock |
| A very good product and no problems have come to light yet. It is very easy to install and there are no wires to cut, it just plugs into your existing wiring loom next to the battery. The manual can be downloaded from the Electronic Ignition Forum on this site or get it from http://www.cmsnl.com/downloads/Ignition_En_rev_b.pdf. No manual came with my ignition kit. The setup instructions have to be followed exactly in order to get the timing right, which can take a little while but once set they won't need to be set again. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() GREAT PRODUCT, Tuesday, February 5, 2008 |
| Reviewer: Lars Cassias |
| This product is great, i have on one CB550K3 motorcycles, and ready to install on the second. It is easy to install, especially after downloading the english instruction manual from the manufacturer. Ignition timing is set by means of the LED, and it worked first time. Ignition is very powerful. The only problem i have encountered so far is the two pick-up sensors. They are soldered to the print and supported by two tiny plastic pillars. These pillars are glued with a non heat resistant glue, so they came off the first set after some driving. I glued them back on with epoxy glue. This is a minor problem. It is a huge advantage to have electronic ignition thus efficiently eliminating the hellish task of setting timing on machine with two contact sets on two anchor plates. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great Electronic Ignition System for Honda SOHC 4, Friday, September 7, 2007 |
| Reviewer: David Kay |
| Although the price was maybe higher than some of the other systems out there, I'm glad I bought this. It is a self contained unit - no little box to mount on your bike. Simply remove the poins plate & point cam and install the magnet and new plate with all the system on it. There is even an LED to make sure the timing is spot-on. Put the engine at the 'F' mark for cylinder 1 & turn the plate until the LED comes on - Tighten the screws & go for a ride.
My bike does run smoother now because all the cylinders are guarenteed to have acurate timing. Starts easy and because it uses the original advance mechanism, performance is not affected. A great product |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Out of order -ignition, Monday, May 19, 2008 |
| Reviewer: Yrj Ella |
| Big disappointment! Another circuit (cylinders 2 and 3) didn't fire at all and when I changed back the old igniton plate - no problem with ignition. I tried to return it but CMS has a tight policy to it: "CMS is unable to accept returns on many electrical parts. Please contact us before returning electrical items. Electrical parts may solely be returned as per our 7 day return period, provided these parts are in the un-opened, original packing, and never have been installed. In light of the above, we cannot replace the unit nor provide a refund." You can't know do the electronical devices work or not by just look at un-opened packages! So I will not buy electronical parts from CMS in the future. |

| It's a good piece an works well. The installation is quite tricky because it's all electronic and you have to adjust it in a very special way. I found a Description of the product an also how you have to install the electronic ignition. Unfortunately I lost the Internet adress, but I can make a fax if necessary. |

| I dont have tested the bike yet, but the Manual was not added to the cargo. When the assembling was finished a friend of mine found the Manual at your website. ;-) The stars above is at this moment. |
