If you can repair, and re-chrome your old band for less than the price of a new one, then do it! But if life is just too short, and you enjoy the tactile pleasure of fitting a new genuine Honda part, that fits correctly and looks great, then don't do it, just buy new ones from CMS, you will be glad you did.
