(28101-402-003) CHAIN,STARTING

When you need to replace your start motor chain, perhaps during the course of an engine rebuild, or may be the old one has just simply worn out, and is jumping, make sure you use a genuine Honda chain. On the genuine Honda chain the links are matched perfectly to the teeth on the starter motor sprockets. Using a non-Honda product could cause excess wear on the sprockets, and the chain to be damaged!
We would advise the fitting of new starter sprockets at the same time, to avoid old hooked teeth damaging the new chain.
