New Kawasaki ZX-6R does not 'play nicely'
kawasaki has announced an all-new ZX-6R, combining the best of the previous 636cc ZX-6R and the limited-edition 599cc ZX-6RR track bike in a single package. The company says it has been redesigned from the crankcases up – the first complete redesign of this model in ten years.
The factory was quite unambiguous about the focus of the design team; a kawasaki spokesman said: "Let other makers talk about user-friendliness.
"This bike was designed to set the quickest lap times, take home the trophies and be more exciting to ride than anything else in its category."
kawasaki designed the new engine around low-friction components that are smaller, lighter, and stiffer than those previously used
