Kawasaki ZN1100B1 SHAFT 1984 USA CALIFORNIA CANADA / LTD information
The ZN1100 LTD followed the same styling cues as the other LTD models with North American styling, with the custom cruiser look. Shaft drive and plenty of meaty performance from it’s Z1 derived DOHC air cooled ‘Four’, ensured sales success then, even with a relatively short production run from 1984 to 1985, the model then being replaced by the liquid cooled four valve six speed engine’s ‘Street Drag bikes’
This model like most of the air-cooled Z1 based machines is now coveted as a classic machine, with typical mid 1980’s style. Many have fallen prey to the ‘trike’ manufacturers, the shaft drive and large torquey engine being ideal for thus type of conversion.
