Subject: Rear Master Cylinder Rebuild or Replace
I am having a lot of trouble locating a part or rebuild kit, for the rear brake master cylinder on my 1980 Kawasaki KZ1000 B4 LTD. I need to rebuild the master cylinder, and have not had any success in locating the parts.Through my research, it seems Kawasaki had this master cylinder arrangement only a short time, for this model and year.
The part which is most important to me, is the Piston assy,rr brake OEM # 43020-1015
If this part can be found, or modified to fit , that would be great!
Some people on the web sites, have suggested to replace this unit with another assembly from another year.
Would you know of any other arrangements, which would be a compatible fit for this bike, and if so , I would be willing to replace the whole unit.
