Kawasaki JS650 information
This Hybrid model included stand up and sit down capabilities (an idea copied universally ever since) and allowed two riders to share the thrills of its thumping 52hp water-cooled 635cc two-stroke tin cylinder engine delivering its thrust via an axial flow pump. A water-jacket exhausts system helped keep noise levels to an acceptable level.
The X2 variant was the first of its type to feature and adjustable handle bar along with an adjustable trim facility. The machines agility and motocross style handling ensured huge popularity – a new racing class was formed to accommodate this new genre of Jet Ski, today known as the “Sport Class”.
