Hi There

You might find that a positive wire might be loose going to the voltage regulator, also check that you have a good earth, and everything is grounded properly, if you are not succesfull, mail me and i will try to help you again.

Where is the voltage regulator located on the 1971 Yamaha JT1 60cc? I think it might be more of a problem then just loose wires, as in something elsa in the ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Maybe like a condenser in the MAGNETO ignition system-
What ever the case it not running or driving around the little town of Santa cruz anymore and I need to fix that, so hopefuly people will want to keep helping me with in put. - THANKS ALL -

"ALL I really know is that the little green N light, that's in & next to the speedometer dosen't light up anymore even with all the parts, wires, 6v. batt. in, ect."

P.S.
Befor evething going bad with the elec. system,
this jt1 drove everwhere. I drove it for 100 miles
or so, two or three weeks later something went out in the wiring. so mybe you can help me, email me at
