The valve spring Seat has quite a pounding and requires replacement at the same time as the valve springs as it acts almost like a protective shim maintaining the correct pressure upon the valve spring.
Be sure to replace inner and outer springs as well as using new valve stem seals Don't forget gaskets and sealant
