Honda SCV100 information

Introduced in 2003 Honda announced the following:

“Concerns over the environment and urban air quality are moving the market away from the use of two-stroke scooters, with their blue smoke and noise, towards an affordable four-stroke alternative. Honda are proud to introduce you to the Lead 100, a low-cost, small-displacement 4-stroke scooter that is gaining a large following among riders who simply want a cheap, easy and dependable way to get from place to place and experience some fun while minding the business of their day”.

It does not translate to well, but you get the idea! By 2007 the SOHC 102cc engine was giving 13.50 hp, enough to give the 102kg-machine strong city performance with enough in hand to venture onto the urban motorway system.
