Re: Loss of power CB250NB 1981 (AUSTRALIA) Forum Greetings! I have an '81 CB250N with running trouble. It starts fine, idles ok for a while, and can be reved, but not long after i can roll the throttle on to full power and it does nothing but idle then when the throttle is returned to the idle position the engine dies. I've cleaned the carbies and replaced and lubed up the throttle cables. It's got new plugs that were gapped properly. I'm thinking it's an electrical problem.
