Honda C71

Opportunities to buy an early Honda Dream C71 in original condition like this come along very rarely.
These machines were the result of Sochiro Honda taking the NSU Renmax as his inspiration to produce smooth, fast but above all civilized motorcycles.
This particular 1959 model produced 18 BHP @ 7400 RPM with a square bore and stroke of 54mm x 54mm and has a dry sump lubrication system.
It is perhaps the purest of the early Honda designs, and increasingly rare in this dry stored condition. It would grace any Honda enthusiast's collection, and of course could also ridden and enjoyed on high days and holidays!
The bike is of course complete, with engine turning smoothly, and with a new battery and carburetor clean, would probably run perfectly.
The price reflects the fact that it is currently a non-runner, but given the overall condition of the bike, we feel that this could easily be remedied.
